1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and participating in The Running of the Balls ("Event"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not register for or participate in the Event.
2. Eligibility
Participation in the Event is open to individuals of all ages. Minors under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.
3. Registration
All participants must complete the online registration form and pay the required entry fee. Registration is non-transferable and non-refundable.
4. Health and Safety
Participants must be physically fit and in good health to participate in the Event. By registering, you confirm that you do not have any medical condition that could be aggravated by participating in the Event. You agree to follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided by the Event organizers.
5. Liability Waiver
By participating in the Event, you assume all risks associated with your participation. You release and hold harmless The Running of the Balls organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and other participants from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to your participation in the Event.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the Event without refund.
7. Photographs and Media
By participating in the Event, you grant The Running of the Balls the right to use your name, image, and likeness in any photographs, video recordings, or other media taken during the Event for promotional purposes without compensation.
8. Cancellation and Changes
The Event organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the Event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, or other emergencies. In the event of cancellation, race packets will be provided as promised. Refunds are not able to be given.
9. Privacy
The personal information you provide during registration will be used solely for the purposes of organizing and conducting the Event. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Guilford County, North Carolina.
